Paris is Affordable.

As one of the most popular and most visited cities in Europe, Paris can be a bit pricey. Unless you happen to be under the age of 26 with a student card and/or a European passport you might be spending a few hundred bucks on entry fees alone.

Paris is a beautiful and luxurious city but it doesn’t have to be pricey. If you are under the age of 26 and have a student card and/or European passport you are able to visit almost all of the cities must see attractions including the Louvre, Versailles among others with no entrance fee.

In case you don’t have a student card and you are under the age of 26, I recommend getting one online from International Student Identity Card (ISIC). They are accepted almost everywhere and provide certain discounts as well.

Here is a list of a few places that let you in for free with the proper identification.

6. Mussé de l’Armée InvalidesPIC_0142There’s many more places that offer free entry as well as reduced tickets, make sure to always ask so you can take advantage of saving a few bucks.

And remember whatever you don’t spend on entry fees to museums, you can spend it on delicious croissants, crêpes, cheese and macaroons.
