I am a strong believer that wherever our travel may take us, we should always respect the culture of the country.
So here are some ideas of what to wear when visiting the Middle East. This are my suggestions, not at all are they 100% accurate or apply to every country in the Middle East (some countries are more strict than others, so always make sure to research before traveling).
If you are visiting in the summer months (June – August) temperatures are very high so it’s important to wear comfortable clothes with fresh fabrics like linen.

Driving through Jordan on our way to Wadi Rum in Aqaba.
This green jumpsuit was very comfortable as we drove through the desert in Wadi Rum. The temperatures were high but the linen fabric was fresh and airy.

Exploring the Lost City of Petra.
This outfit is also very comfy and perfect for exploring under the heat, it’s all linen fabric. Keep in mind comfortable shoes for walking is key. Also, the turban is used to keep your head cool from the sun.
One rule to follow: When in doubt, don’t do it!
